| Job Search | The Barrhaven Youth Employment Centre aspires to be the model for a
nationwide program of youth-initiated, youth-run self serve employment centres with the
goal of helping youth help themselves. Our centre provides the resources for youth to
conduct and develop the thorough and professional job search skills needed for
today’s business world. Our goal is not to provide job opportunities to youth,
rather it is to provide an environment in which they can develop the skills necessary to
seek them out themselves. This website can serve as a starting point for your job search. However, beyond all else, we wish to reiterate that you should not rely on the job postings and links on this site alone. Instead we wish to promote the proactive search for jobs -- that is, target your search and go out and make your own job opportunities. How do I start you ask? |
